JLPT N5 - Grammar ๐ ใใใจใใใ ta koto ga aru
I’m sure many of you reading my blog have experienced this before...
Maybe you’ve watched a Japanese anime or movie, or tried ramen, or a sweet matcha dessert at a Japanese restaurant in your country.
In Japanese, when we talk about something we’ve experienced before, we use ใใใจใใใ (ta koto ga aru).
It means “to have done something before”, a simple but powerful way to share your experiences and connect with others.
You can use it to say things like, “I’ve eaten sushi,” “I’ve seen Spirited Away,” or “I’ve studied Japanese before.”
Let’s learn how to use ใใใจใใใ naturally and start talking about your own experiences in Japanese!
Are you ready? Let’s go!

ใ (past form only) vs ใใใจใใใ (ta koto ga aru)
Both use the ใ-form, but their meanings are different!
ใ (past form) simply describes a specific event in the past.
You use it when you’re talking about when something happened.
